SATURDAY ACTIVITY

“All of us do not have equal talents, but, all of us have equal opportunity to develop our talent”

– Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

Everyone is born with some talent, but not everyone has the opportunity to develop it so it’s a matter of getting opportunity, not capacity because, without perseverance, learning, hard work, talent will not be manifested. So, our school always emphasizes nurturing these innate abilities within the students and one such initiative of our school is ‘KALEIDOSCOPE ‘ where students get a chance to transpire their versatility in diverse areas namely debate, slogan writing, declamation, role-play, quiz, memory-skill, performing arts (role play, poem recitation, various forms of dance), fine arts, instrumental music, vocal music, puzzle solving etc.

The school’s curriculum encompasses a series of activities, guest lectures, sessions and excursions planned and executed on every working Saturday throughout the year as a part of the school’s Co-Curricular Programme. These activities develop all domains i.e. cognitive, psycho-motor, social, emotional, spiritual of the students. It helps in inculcating virtuosity, creativity, artistry, aesthetic skills in students at a very young age. Grovians learn to explore their potential during Kaleidoscope which acts as a platform for expressing the learning and knowledge that students acquire. More than just an activity, Kaleidoscope is a chance for students to get noticed for the right talent and aptitude they possess.
