HOUSE SYSTEM

The school has established a House system starting from Grade III to encourage the learners to work in unison, co – operation and have healthy competition. We have four Houses in the School:

• Da Vinci House (Red)
• Einstein House (Yellow)
• Teresa House (Blue)
• Gandhi House (Green)

Each House is headed by one student known as the “House Captain” who is assisted by, “House Prefect”. A member of the staff is “House Warden” who is assisted by several other teachers, “House Tutors”. Each House is on duty for one week in a month. Points are awarded to the House based on display boards, maintenance of discipline, presentation of news and thoughts etc. Several Inter – House Competitions are organized throughout the year in Sports, Dramatics, Debates, Quiz, Art, Music and Dance etc. At the end of the year the House gaining the highest number of points is declared the winner and bags the prestigious Inter – House Rolling Trophy.

This division of houses is done to encourage team spirit through healthy competitions. By working in teams and individually, students practice and refine their social skills such as cooperation and communication, caring and sharing, while learning to value their individual talents and interests.
